been an I.T operation Office built by Kinetic special vehicles the box alone on the back would have cost in excess of 80k & then the normal price of the Iveco New Cargo which is totally un-restricted but has seat belts as it belonged to the police so the best of both combination of the slightly older Iveco. It is a well known fact the Police over service all there vehicle so this one is not only low milage but has a brilliant engine quite & still very torque & powerful it`s a first time starter with new Numax Batteries.The Iveco went straight through an M.o.t so is both Taxed & M.o.t`d till December 2012 (Tax is £186 for the year) The complete length is 26ft8" front front bumper to tailgate it is 8ft wide & the body itself is 21ft All tyres are good - Gearbox is five speed - Clutch is light - steering is feather light - all instruments work as they should & there`s a cut of switch for the power supply to the Tail lift on the dash. The engine has been fully serviced & the oil pressure gauge is reading good oil pressure it has the standard Iveco RDS stereo & the Milage is 175974KLM wich coverts to 92k In miles which is absoluterly nothing for the engine it has, A turbo diesel 6 cylinder 5861cc very good on diesel as this is correct engine for both weight & size. All the seat are like new with hardly any wear to them as the police are always smart & clean.Obviously never smoked in or had pets or kids in it so everything still works as it should & is in top top condition throughout.The special Kinetic Back BoxA Company Called Kinetic Special vehicles built the box complete from new & from the floor upwards & any one in the industry will know both the name for quality & the cost as this would only be affordable to the .gov departments in excess of 80k no if`s or buts, a lot of money & i cannot justify it but he quality is better than anything you will find anywhere everything is either proper hard wood or top cost suspended ceilings to a none slip floor covering that cost over £60 a SQ Meter. I can tell you what it has but feel it`s easier to let you view the photo`s for finish etc. The back is totally self supporting with a 3kva Diesel Electric start generator (Yes Diesel fed from the trucks own tank) Product No: 958 500 221 AG113 3000 This supports the 12v system charges & supply s the hot water heater - Internal ceiling defused lights & several double point 240v sockets -The outside or external 240v connection had a Kussmaul auto eject socket fitted which i have temporarily removed as i don`t have a plug this will be supplied & i will fit a UK Conventional hook up socket - Full blown & ducted Diesel Fuel Heater B5LC-12 Eberspacher which can be reversed to use a climate control this unit is both 12v & 240v & again is fed from the truck main fuel tank. The water heater is again a top name brand which works & fills from it`s own pump & is auto switch off. There is 8 double tubed 12v lights & 12 strip lights 240v - 2 external lights above both the side door & rear tail lift.The walls are all double insulated with a carpet type finish with windows to both sides in Smoke Dark Tint - There is a full internal control panel for the heater & lights & to start the generator all fused on pop out & re-set fuses - The electric are all fused through a BSI approved consumer unit - The batteries for the 12Volt system are twin linked 100amp (One of which is brand new last week) the generator has it`s own separate 12volts system - This vehicle has all the re-charging systems & voltage regulators & step down - invertors etc etc as you would expect from a top Company like Kinetic. Everything works as it should & nothing needs either replacing or restoring.All the cupboards & draws are dove tail made Bespoke cabinets That Lock & all have pop in & pop out buttons to secure item while in transit - The ceiling is a full top quality suspended ceiling with integral 240v & 12vlt lights built in with diffusers & there are 2 60W speakers in the roof panels. There are six seats all top grade upholstery all with lockers underneath & a center table between two of them - both the side door has approved railing & is disabled graded access so wider than normal the tail lift has a disablement feature to allow for wheel chair access with rails (Approved) The flooring is the non slip sort found in all council buildings. ex council vehicle and has only had one owner from new. The bus drives really well but the only slight negative is that it has a very slight diff or prop whine but this is prob just me being honest and too picky! It is in very good condition for its age with only a few marks/damage as shown in the pics Being an ex council bus im sure it would have been maintained regardless of cost, i do have a few inspection sheets and invoices for work that has been carried out on the tailift. There is 9 passenger seats in the back and plenty of room for wheelchairs. Viewings and inspections on the bus are welcomed and are recommended so that you know exactly what you are bidding on! It was used on everything from schools, local private hire and local bus service and did everything without fuss. It has an electric operated plug type entrance door, so is that little bit more plush than normal! It was repainted in a couple of years ago to the colours shown, but the paint is flaking in a couple of places. The bad bits I know of are it has some rust on in places, the hand brake doesn`t work, and the engine has some minor oil leaks (nothing major). It does not have ABS & it`s not LEZ compliant, but if it goes to Africa it don`t need to be! It starts first time and will drive for miles, so all you exporters out there be quick to grab a bargain! The private plate is includded in the sale (it was originally an R reg).
