radiator fitted and spent nearly three thousand on it, so this truck is ready to go. I wanted a truck that could carry three road race bikes, and all of the kit you need, tyres, flooring, petrol cans, tools spare fairings, you know the list. But most trucks have very little room. I have had lashing points in the floor, so with the tail lift it makes loading very easy. You can see the space that there is even with three bikes. There are side pods on both sides and a built in water tank. The workshop in the back has a clear rood and strip lighting, so you can work all night in the light if you like! It comes with a genny, but has mains hook up as well as a 12v circuit. The body is very new as are all of the oven, toilet TV (digital) It had a seperate shower and Thetford Loo, which all work well. In the workshop it has a compressor. It had a diesel night heater in the main living area, with buckets of storage. It has a huge double bed and another if you pop the table down, as in pic. Even better, if you have an unwelcome guest or someone who snores, the cab has a sleeper! It drives well and is on a Private licence and runs on a 7.5 tonne licence. Fuel is not too bad, I had two good runs to Cadwell last week and its running great. I have just lost my storage facilty for it and can work out of a van as there is only me racing this year, so if you need to move kit and people in comfort, please make a bid. from the Italian border.I recently inherited this motorhome and relocated to the south of France bringing it with me to transport my family ,dog and cats to our villa. Now here, we have no longer any use for it. It is a 2000 Iveco with very low mileage ,only 41,000 , left hand drive and turbo diesel so great for touring Europe. Its the first motorhome i have had and have to say it was a pleasure to drive down through France and cruising at 60 mph with ease. The Captains seats are heated and have shock absorbers built in to absorb the bumps.The air conditioning is ice cold making any drive effortless. There`s also plenty of room for all to move around . There is a complete bathroom,toilet,shower. Also fully functional kitchen with an oven that looks unused and a large fridge/freezer. There are 2 rear beds perfect for children.I currently have it placed in a superb location and may suit the new owner to leave it here for the summer. The campsite St Michel is located just above the lovely town of Menton, just 5 minutes from the beach,facing the famous Mont Agel mountains, 10 mins from the Italian border to the east, and 10 mins Monaco west..The campsite owners are available for a long term deal and i can assist you with this should you require. They currently charge 14 euros per night in season when in use with water,electric etc, but also have parking where it currently is, for roughly half that.The exterior is very clean with the exception of a few minor stone chips on the bonnet. I have found some faults which are listed below,1. windscreen wiper motor needs replacing as i found out 4 hours into my journey. £120 from dealer2. two small switches to operate the rear interior lights appear to be missing.3. Its due a service and the brakes may need replacing at some stage soon but is perfectly legal and usable as is for the time being.There is an Iveco dealer 18Kms from the site in France and another just across the border in Italy who can rectify these small problems.My father purchased this motorhome from a well known dealer in the Midlands over 2 years ago and hardly ever used it. He kept it stored in a barn in Franceduring the winter months. It will require an mot as has not seen England since he purchased it,however the dealer had it mot`d when he bought it. I recently had it bought back to Jersey where i`m originally from, and had it inspected by the local DVLA who cleared it for Jersey registration (before the wipers packed up).I then decided to leave it on UK plates. I still have all the paperwork for registration and have paid GST (£650)should anyone in the Channel Islands be interested.I started it today for the the first time in 3 weeks and it was perfect with no smoke,rattles etc. The battery was also fine. The remote control keyfob immobiliser works as it should and locks and unlocks all doors.Should you not require the motorhome in France the nearest airport to fly to collect is Nice. I can collect you from here and take you to st Michel. I dont have time to deliver it back to the UK. I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge but please remember it is 12 years old.Payment to be received within 7 days after auction by either bank transfer or cash upon collection .I have the V5 present and it is currently UK registered. 6 seats. It would have to be retaxed because it is a disabled tax at present and it cannot be transferred. The vehicle is moted until September 12, it runs very well, uses no oil or water. The condition is fair with some rust showing through in places, usual for vehicles of this age, nothing major. some superficial welding was done in replacing a panel near the side door, other than paint not matching it is ok. Since I have owned it [5/6 years] it has had good service history including new injectors last year and a injector pump rebuild, 2 new tyres last year, all other including the spare are very good. Apart from that already mentioned the bad bits are and there are always some, the seats are scruffy, the side sliding door does not lock from the outside it work ok apart from this, the bus runs very well but when weather is cold some smoke from cold start, it is diesel smoke not oil, it has been like this since I have had it, once this clears there is no more smoke until the next cold start, the fuel consumption is good for a bus this size. The reason for sale is that I have had to buy one with a wheel chair lift so the bus is now surplus. I have started the sale a little over scrap because it is to good to scrap. X | £582.00 | |||||||
